Hornady OAL Gauge Curved
Seating depth regulation, as well as the resulting "jump" to the rifling, is often recognized as critical to increased accuracy. The difference between ordinary accuracy and true tack-driver performance can be measured in thousandths of an inch between the bullet and the rifling.
To use the L-N-L O.A.L. Gauge, you'll need to buy a Modified Case that fits your gun's chamber and thread it onto the gauge.
All autoloader, lever-action, and pump-action rifles are eligible. All bolt-action and single-shot weapons are also compatible. Through the ejection port, it is inserted into the chamber.
