Caldwell Stable Table
The Caldwell Stable Table is designed to be the best value-priced shooting bench available. Tripods are more sturdy and have fewer joints than folding-style benches, making them suitable for a wide range of shooting circumstances and disciplines. A bolt at the base enables for the adjustment of a single leg, aligning the tabletop with the horizon. The central shaft, seat, and tabletop all swivel as a single unit around a central axis, keeping the tabletop parallel to the horizon. This allows the user to shoot from any angle with a single setup, which is great for varmint hunting. If required, the bench can be readily locked into a single shooting position.
The top is composed of molded plastic and is supported by a robust metal under-frame. The top has holes that serve as handles for convenient carriage or as holders for the cleaning forks that are included. The seat changes from 16" to 22" in height and revolves around the tabletop. Cleaning prongs that snap into place on the top and securely hold a pistol for cleaning are included. The shooting bench is made up of seven sections and weighs 60 pounds when assembled.
