Remington No. 9 1/2 Large Rifle Primers Every centerfire primer contains a collection of subcomponents that have been constructed to extremely tight tolerances. The size of the primer cup can be regulated to four decimal places. The priming mix has been tested for reliability over a temperature range of -20°F to +150°F and is carefully prepared for consistent ignition with a wide variety of powder types.
