Nikko Stirling Air King 4-12x42 Half Mildot
To address the ever-increasing popularity of air rifle hunting, the Airking riflescopes were created. Extreme recoil forces act on air guns, which accelerate their bullets almost to the speeds of .22 Rimfire cartridges using special springs. This can destroy the optics.
The Series models have been specifically engineered to withstand such a massive load. This effect was even increased in 2008 by one additional anti-kickback screws, which assures an even more solid coupling of scope and rifle when the Airking is attached with the built of one piece 3/8 "Schwalbenschwanzmontierung, shot by shot.
The riflescope is composed of one piece and has a tube diameter of 24.5 mm, which considerably improves their marksmanship in addition to the riflescope's toughness. High-quality lenses have been inserted for added clarity. Thanks to modern production procedures and lens technology, the quality of these lenses is improving. Furthermore, upgraded optical coatings distinguish the Airking Scopes. These specific provisions limit light reflection at the lens surface, allowing more light to reach the hunter's eye and hence a better view of the field. To accomplish this impression, many competitors utilize merely colored lens tint.
Another highlight is the gummed adjusting buttons - natürliich both height and lateral adjustment - since these allow 1/4 MOA per click very precise adjustment. The parallax can be adjusted using the adjustable objective (AO) according to their wishes.
The Airking 4-12x42 has the following properties:
Visually, it offers an adjustable between 4x and 12x magnification and a front lens diameter of 42mm. The exit pupil is accordingly from 10.5 to 3.5. A field of view of up to 9.6 m to 100 m is also extremely convenient.
The reticle is an illuminated Half Mil Dot reticle. It is designed so that you can hunt with a viewing distance between 65 mm and 75 mm at dusk and at night his goals always has a good view. Thanks to the above-mentioned special compensation, the device achieves a twilight factor 13.0 to 22.5.
