The glass etched skeleton half mil dot (HMD) or PRR reticle is situated on the first focal plane, which means it will remain proportionate to your view image regardless of magnification.
The fact that the image and reticle constantly increase/decrease in the same proportion is a benefit of an FFP scope. Drop compensation and range finding can be done quickly and easily as a result of this. On the saddle, parallax and lighting are combined.
