Hornady OAL Gauge Straight #C1000

Seating depth regulation, as well as the resulting "jump" to the rifling, is often recognized as critical to increased accuracy. The difference between ordinary accuracy and true tack-driver performance can be measured in thousandths of an inch between the bullet and the rifling. To use the L-N-L O.A.L. Gauge, you'll need to buy a Modified Case that fits your gun's chamber and thread it onto the gauge. All autoloader, lever-action, and pump-action rifles are eligible. All bolt-action and single-shot weapons are also compatible. Through the ejection port, it is inserted into the chamber.
