The casings are made with greater care and attention by Hornady, who also produces them in smaller batches. There is no other way to guarantee that every case satisfies their exacting quality criteria. Hornady casings provide reloaders with exceptional uniformity in the primer pocket and flash hole as well as in the case wall thickness, weight, and internal capacity. They perform pressure calibration tests on their cases to ensure uniform case expansion and measure for consistently tight wall concentricity. Each case is then manually examined.
