Lee Factory Crimp Die 270WSM

The Lee Factory Crimp Die for the 270 WSM Winchester Short is designed to ensure that each round of reloaded ammunition has the precise crimp. The Factory Crimp Die crimps the bullet firmly in place with more uniform pressure than any other die. A collet on the Factory Crimp Die squeezes the case mouth into the crimping groove for a secure hold. This is the same crimp seen on manufacturing ammunition. When crimping with a normal roll crimp die, it is practically impossible to buckle the case. According to Lee's research, employing a Factory Crimp Die produces a more consistent pressure curve, which improves bullet accuracy.
