Speer boat tail bullets are intended for long-range use. The bullet's name comes from the tapered heel, which reduces aerodynamic drag and allows for flatter trajectories. The boat tails are designed to expand faster than Hot-Cor. Excellent for long shots in almost any non-dangerous game. To keep retained weights high, the jackets taper from a thicker shank section to a thin nose section.
